1.1 Warehouse Distribution Clerk- We all know that Warehouses are mainly used for storing products until they are needed. As Clerk in a Warehouse your duties are mainly accepting orders, managing supplies, organizing products and arranging items within the warehouse. You may also complete administrative and clerical duties.

What Type of Job Positions available in a Warehouse?

You can work in a Warehouse as a:/ Ungasebenza kwi Warehouse ubeyenye yezizinto zibhalwe apha ezantsi:
1. STOCK CONTROLLER- your duties is to receive the goods brought into the Warehouse and ensure the accuracy of the stock.
2. STOCKER- your duties is to ensure all shelves and storage areas have enough product stock within a warehouse.
3. WAREHOUSE GENERAL WORKER- This one includes everyone, drivers, floor staff, they perform many duties including receiving and processing various stocks and materials, filling, packing, shipping and loading orders and managing and retrieving stock. Warehouse general workers also prepare orders, pull materials, pack boxes and place orders. In addition, they complete deliveries by driving a vehicle to and from vendors.
4. LABORERS- Laborers perform manual labor in a warehouse or other environment like a construction site. They use a variety of tools like hand and power tools on a daily basis.
5. MATERIAL HANDLERS- move pallets and raw materials to production lines. They also move finished products to a warehouse or shipping container.
6. SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK-prepare products for shipping and record shipping data to verify the content of each shipment. They arrange each product for transportation, receive merchandise, reject damaged goods, maintain inventory and help unload merchandise as necessary.
7. FORKLIFT OPERATORS- move shipments to various locations within a warehouse. They move these shipments to the right place for storage and relocate any outgoing shipments to the warehouse’s loading dock.
